Hi!! I’m getting married in a short month. I plan to walk down the aisle to “I get to love you” by Ruelle. I was thinking maybe to have my bridesmaids walk down to “A thousand Years” By John Story (instrumental-piano/guitar). I have 6 bridesmaids, 3 flower girls, and a ring bearer. I also have escorts walking my mother and my grandmother to their seats as another walks the groom’s mother and grandmother to their seats. I’m assuming i’ll need two songs. Just need advice!! Thank you so so much in advance!

I’m thinking of hiring a violinist and play “Marry Me” by train as my groom and the rest of the wedding party walk down the aisle. Then I’ll have her play “Can’t help falling in love” when it’s my turn. I showed a video on Youtube to my fiancé and he asked me if I’m trying to make him cry. Lol

That’s sounds so pretty!! my fiancé is singing to me on our wedding day. he’s soooo talented but is afraid to sing in front of people. i’m definitely going to cry.

You can totally have everyone walking to the same song. You should time it out in a trial and see how much of the song is left! You would be surprised how quick the walk is!

I’m walking down to this song too!! And my bridesmaids are walking down to “Perfect” the duet version ft Beyoncé .

But yea I agree with everyone to loop the song if possible . 😊 Such an amazing song!!

I agree!! i started to go to sleep early tonight and i’m so glad i didn’t! i ran upon the song by accident and immediately fell in love with it! now i have to see if the groom approves. he serves for our country so i’m having to plan everything alone right now lol!

I'm having the same song for the entire procession. I wanted to keep it simple for the musician and vocalist.
I can definitely understand how meaningful it would be to have two songs though. I think the only thing you should consider when you do this is that the actual time everyone will be walking is not very long so the timing of each song will have to be pretty planned out.
Another option to consider is to have the musicians play the melody of the your aisle song and then only start singing the verses that mean the most to you when you enter.
