We have been completely stressed over finances for our upcoming wedding. we have decided that we would like to just go down and get it done in a courthouse setting, or anywhere that can do weddings on short notice that will supply seating. nothing more than 20 people. we live in Dayton OH and would like to keep it in this area. we found a place in columbus but its too far. out budget is around $100 but less as possible.

How about having your immediate family (parents & siblings) witness your wedding at the courthouse and then going for a nice sit down dinner? I doubt you will be able to cater for 20 people on only $100.

You can have a larger reception at a later date after you have saved enough money for the reception you want. You can also have a vow renewal on the same day.

Hi Alexandria! Welcome to the WeddingWire Community! I cosign! I think a courthouse ceremony with close friends and family would definitely be a great option. From there, you could easily reserve a table at a local restaurant to celebrate. Or, you can also have an intimate dinner at a family member's house. Don't worry; it will work out fine!
