Hi MA Brides!

Any suggestions for a unique ceremony location in Salem? I would love something outside at one of those historic home in town. I’ve heard the Ropes mansion as well as the Custom House can host ceremonies, but I’m not seeing anything online. Looking for space for 150 guests seated. Any suggestions??
We’re looking to have our reception at the House of the 7 Gables but if you have your reception there, then the space for the ceremony is really small and most guests have to stand. Trying to find another location for the ceremony that’s more comfortable where everyone can sit. Thanks!

Hey there, Liana! Welcome to the WeddingWire community. House of the 7 Gables is such a cool location or your reception. So historic! Do you think the venue coordinator would have some suggestions of local ceremony spaces based on weddings held there before but had the ceremony elsewhere?

UPDATE: We found out they do ceremonies at the Hawkes House, which is part of the National Parks Service. It’s also right near the 7Gables and the warf. You just need to get a permit for $50. So it’s another option!
