Saint Lucia Honeymooners?

We stayed at Cap Maison and just LOVED it! However, it is definitely on the pricey side, and maybe not for everyone. For us it was completely worth it, and perfect for what we were looking for. It is very secluded and quiet - we were there at the end of June which is the beginning of slow season, so it may have been even more quiet than usual. The grounds and views are gorgeous and we were in a villa with a private rooftop pool, which made it even more gorgeous. They also have other rooms without such extreme views, but the entire property is immaculately kept, the hotel pools nice and the beach area is really just a small alcove (so, again, quiet and not a lot of public use) with a beach bar and restaurant right there. It is all-inclusive optional -- we went for it and weren't disappointed as all of the food is amazing and gourmet quality. We only left the resort for one day of excursions so we were able to take full advantage of it.

When I say it isn't for everybody, what I mean is, it doesn't have much of a party vibe, so if that's what you're looking for, you may want to look elsewhere. There are 2 Sandals properties on the island and I think they've gotten good reviews, so if that's more your thing, maybe look at those (I haven't been, so can't say). On the day we did the excursions, we took a boat tour of the island, went snorkling, visited the mud baths and sulfur springs....all very interesting and I'm glad we did. We really loved St. Lucia on the whole and look forward to going back some day! Check out TripAdvisor for other recommendations as well. Good luck!
