So I posted on here before about narrowing down my wedding dress selection and I thought I might have found the one, but I went a different direction and got something different. I'll post pictures below.
My vision: I wanted 2 looks and 2 dresses. Dress 1 for the ceremony is an illusion top, sweetheart neckline, fit and flare with a long train. Something cute and romantic, but appropriate for the church. Dress 2 for the reception is sexy with a very deep plunge, illusion sides, fit and flare, don't care about the train, because this will be none existent or buselled.
After shopping around at stores they tried to convince me to find one dress that does it all, but I haven't found that yet. Something always seems to be missing. Well after this shopping trip I narrowed it down to 2 dresses and I was planning on getting just 1. I loved both of the dresses, bought 1 and plan on getting the other one as well. But now I'm trying to see if I should just stick with the one I bought to make it work for both the ceremony and reception.
My dress as you can see is an Illusion top that is a sweetheart neckline, fit and flare silhouette, illusion sides lined with lace and a pretty train in the back. (Almost everything I want, except for the deep V)
People say you can always take away from a dress but it's harder to add on to a dress. Do you think I can alter the dress to get that deep V and only stick to this dress?
Dress 1: Already purchased
Dress 2: Additional Dress for the Venue. I wouldn't need the veil for this since that would only be for the ceremony. But I just love the fit and the deep V on this one. Do you think I can get the front to look like this for the first dress?
