Rude to sent thank you cards so late?

It's better late then never. Go on and thank them :-)

I'd definitely send them. People understand, particularly with everything going on this year. A thank-you is always appreciated!

I agree with everyone else. But also, sending them now will be doing YOURSELF a favor, because then you won't have to worry about this any more. Free up your worry muscles for other things.

I’ve seen this and I think it’s a pretty neat idea, a couple uploaded their wedding photos (selected a few) to the wedding website and added that on the thank you card so guests could view.
That could also be an excuse for the delay in getting them out.
