Just wanted to share a little story from last night that I thought some of you may appreciate. We all have people we don't plan on inviting to our weddings saying "Send me an invite!" Just wanted to share a little story from last night that I thought some of you may appreciate. We all have people we don't plan on inviting to our weddings saying "Send me an invite!" Or "I'm invited too, right". It drives me CRAZY. I would never just assume I am invited to someone's day, especially someone I am not close with. We have had several of these so I have gotten pretty good at hiding my annoyance and laughing it off.
But last night I was at the grocery store and the cashier was someone we went to high school with. We weren't friends with her in high school, and have never really liked her. She starts the conversation by asking where he was and I told her that he was out with friends and I got a huge lecture about how she doesn't have time for stuff like that because she works two jobs. What do you say to that? Eventually it goes to how she is engaged now, and I tell her congratulations and she asks when our wedding is. I tell her and she tells me they haven't picked a day yet. Then (as I am paying) she says "You know, no offense to you, but we did the opposite thing. I've thinned down since high school, and you PLUMPED up" .... Seriously? I said yes, I did, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and issues with my thyroid. Even the lady behind me looked like she wanted to punch her. THEN as I am putting my bags in the cart she says "I'll send you my address on FB so you can send me an invite!" and she actually did!!Smiley amazing

I had people who INSISTED upon being invited not ever send back their RSVP, that infuriated me. I can’t even tell you how much I wasted on putting postage on all the rsvp cards for people to mail them back, and so many people never did 🙄

Keep her address though and send her a wedding announcement to rub in how beautiful you look on your wedding day! (I'm petty)
