I have found so many cute rubber stamps or self inking stamps on Etsy to use for return addresses, but are they worth it? Are y'all ordering a custom stamp or handwriting? There is a really cute one I want, but can't decide if I want to order it. I have a fear of smearing the ink on the envelope, but I am also left handed so my whole life seems to be one big smear anyways! Also if you do get one, are you doing self-inking or stamp pad? Which one is easier?

We r ordering a custom wax stamp to seal our invite envelopes. Its supposed to be a type of wax that wont get caught in the mail machines.

I am as well. Its easier tna. Handwriting because your hand will be numb a quarter of the way through, and if your handwriting isn't the best it may not turn out the way you want. Rubber stamping made me nervous because I didn't want the edges of the stamp to get on the envelope.

Same. I literally just ordered it yesterday. There was one that we really wanted and right after we decided on it the shop closed for a break. Gave them over 2 weeks to re-open and finally had to pick an alternative because we'd like to get our Save the Dates out soon.

I went for the stamp since it can be reused. I definitely didn't want to handwrite our address a million times, and decided a stamp would cost less in the long run than having to keep ordering return address labels for Save the Dates, Invites, and Thank Yous.
