Yes- we reached out to people before the deadline in a casual way. If we saw them or spoke with them we asked them if they were going to be able to make it. A couple people we connected with on Facebook. Very informally. A couple weeks before the RSVP deadline we used the guest reminder feature on TheKnot which just alerts people that we were looking forward to their response. Between these tactics we were able to get every RSVP in (approx 175) with a couple days to spare before our deadline. If we hadn't we would have been more direct for responses with people who hadn't responded before the deadline...luckily we didn't need to.

I waited until one week after the deadline (I sent out the invites and made my RSVP deadline early for this exact reason). Then, exactly one week after the deadline, I started shooting texts out or asking FH’s mom to reach out to the ones on his side. Thankfully they all got back really quickly!!

Yeah I'm not too worried. now if more don't start rolling in by mid to end of next month I'll get annoyed haha my deadline to RSVP is September 15th so still have plenty of time.

I waited till like two weeks after the deadline, and I just sent them the wedding website asking them to RSVP.

Wait until the deadline. Then start calling people

I sent mine out mid June and our deadline is August 21st.
