Rsvps not coming in

I sent out my wedding invitations in the beginning of May for our wedding that is on September 22nd. We invited 182 guests and the RSVP deadline is August 16th. I still have 99 people I am waiting to hear from. I got a bunch in the beginning but within the last few weeks I haven't had a single RSVP...

I sent out my wedding invitations in the beginning of May for our wedding that is on September 22nd. We invited 182 guests and the RSVP deadline is August 16th. I still have 99 people I am waiting to hear from. I got a bunch in the beginning but within the last few weeks I haven't had a single RSVP come back. I provided the traditional response (addressed and stamped) and I also gave an option to RSVP online. I am starting to get discouraged ... is this normal?

    Yes that is normal. We received a lot of the rsvps back the last week before the deadline and then still had to contact a few guests to see if they were coming.

    I sent mine out on June 27th for a September 27th Wedding. I am not sure why people are saying that’s too early all my checklists (I have like five) say 2-3 months before the wedding. I ask that they reply by August 19th. Any later I feel would be too late. I have to set up my table assignment and order printing for that. I tend to be a over planner too. We currently have 50/130 returned.

    I also have RSVP online, no one has touched it yet lol

    Maybe you can send out a reminder text that rsvps are due by August. May was a while ago. Some people may have just forgotten to send them or misplaced them.

    Ugh Im there as well, my rsvp deadline is august 1st and we have only received about 50 back out of 150... whyyy do people do this?! lol

    As we continue to wait on our RSVPs I remember all the many, many, times I didn’t rsvp. I was such a space-case in my 20s! Lol
