Rsvps are due May 15th!

Our rsvps are due back tomorrow. We only have 30 put of 70. I'm only nervous about it because I have not received anymore since last Thursday! When should I start reaching to those who have not sent the RSVP back?

I started reaching out a day or two before my deadline. I am close to all of my guest list and ended up needing a number sooner than I thought.

I waited another week past the due date and then started to reach out, people are generally just not concerned about due dates, so hopefully you are not in a crunch and allowed for this in your timeline

Nope. My wedding is June 15. I made the it earlier for the RSVPs because I knew people wouldn't care about getting back to me on time.

Wow, then I would suggest by Wednesday you start reaching out to people so that you can get a final count and finish your planning..that's just not a nice thing for people to do, it's super frustrating. We sent out 160 invitations and have 146 people attending

It's very annoying! My whole family has back the RSVPS. It's my FH dad and moms side that have not. And our friends have sent in the RSVPS too. But that how my FH family is.. and when they say yes they are coming to family events half the time they do not show up! So I'm kind of nervous about that.

Since today is the 15th I would wait until Monday to start reaching out to those who have yet to respond. This way if anyone waited until last second and threw the RSVP in the mail yesterday or today you give them a couple extra days for the mail to get to you.

WE have people on FHs side that said that they were coming and didnt send in their RSVP. Last wedding that the family had some of these people showed up and the venue had to run around and setup tables. WE have told our planner, to NOT do this. Since they could not RSVP they cannot come into the wedding and do NOT come find us. We dont want to pay out anymore money, we are sorry but they need to learn to be responsible. We had some people tell us in our face that they put the RSVP in the mail, I even had some of my sorority sisters tell me that but they IMd me on facebook begging to come after the RSVP deadline and before the 5day deadline we had with the venue so we allowed those people but if you show up at the door, we will not let you come in. I'm getting married in 2days so I have more than enough stress.
