RSVP tools- which site is best?

pittielvr, on December 20, 2013 at 12:03 AM Posted in Planning 0 7

I am going to do an online RSVP- we estimated that of our 170 invites only four elderly guests would have difficultly with an online RSVP (we are adding a phone number to the invite).

So far I have my first draft of our page on WW- after the holidays I want to get serious and start adding information. Has anyone experienced the knots RSVP feature?

Also do either allow you to upload information from excel? (ie addresses)

Thanks!

I didn't do online RSVPS, but I'm bumping your thread for you because I know lots of others have!

Thanks! It seems like a very easy way to manage RSVP as well as keep some trash out of landfills

We bought our own domain (not using knot or ww). We used survey monkey and included a link to it on our site. We haven't sent invitations yet... in a few weeks but I did a test responce and it worked. Its free and you just have to upgrade to get your results in excel.

I'm using the weddingwire feature, a wedding I went to this summer used it, and it seemed to work well. Have you tired this one?

A friend of mine also used theknot, she didn't have any complaints that I can remember.

And yes, you can upload all the information via excel on WW, I'm assuming the same for theknot.

I'm doing online RSVP's as well (with a phone number listed for the 3-4 people who might have trouble). My website is through The Knot - I tested the feature myself and it seems to be pretty easy. The only thing is you have to have the guest book updated with the full names so they can find themselves (e.g. Jane & John Smith, not just Jane & John). The website prompts them to enter their name exactly as it appears on the invite. The guests can plug in any name listed in their household and it will bring up the whole list (kids, etc).

I'm planning on using the tool on my WW Website. I'm hoping for the best, it seems easy to use? I also activated where guests can send a email with questions through my site.

I have a friend who used knot's RSVP and she didn't have any complaints about the one either.
