Is anyone else going through the RSVP yo-yo stress?? 2 weeks ago I was stressing out that we invited wayyy too many people, and now that I'm getting RSVPs back, I'm at like a 55% decline rate, with 29% reporting so far, so now I'm a little worried that we won't even hit the minimum! Such a stressful process! Smiley smile

Wow half!? That seems unlikely unless you have a lot of people out of town who you do not expect to travel.

Most of our declines are couples deciding not to bring a child or single people deciding not to bring a plus one. Still waiting on maybe 15-20 responses.

I’m going through the same thing except I haven’t actually sent out invitations but I’m not expecting most of my family to show. At the same time I’m terrified that people I don’t expect to come will show

I'm at the waiting for RSVP return stage myself. I sent mine on the 4th. Inviting 110, I've received some from my co-workers, but they are slowly coming in. Only 3 have been returned to my mom. June 13th is the deadline. I don't want to get discouraged either. Only 1 decline so far. Let's hope we'll get a good return.

We just sent out our invites so I’m patiently waiting to start getting RSVPs back, very nervous though because we are having a small out of state wedding, thinking maybe should of invited more people

Yeah, it's kind of funny - I always felt like i invited too many people and a number of declines would be helpful to my budget..... One week into sending out the invites, I have 85 attending/8 declines (216 invited so quite a few more have to respond in the next 3 weeks). Now all of a sudden I am worried like I should have invited more people. LOL.

We haven't reached that point, but we have 331 people on our list, so we're HOPING we get a higher decline rate lol. Venue can hold 350, but still. Huge family on FH side and lots of courtesy invites.

Some people that get invited, don't even care that the no's, cause you to be out the money per plate. It really stinks in a way. I hope you all meet your goals.

We won't be hitting our minimum, however if we pay for the pp price of the minimum amount of guests they don't care.

We invited 190 and had 150 rsvp yes. I was very shocked by the 40 declines- I was expecting half of that (10%).
