RSVP Response Hack

I want to thank all the WW members who mentioned numbering rsvp response cards to help identify when people don't write names on them...I've started getting rsvps back and about 60% so far haven't had any names, just a response, so writing the numbers before mailing has been a life saver! I highly recommend numbering or a similar technique

I just did this last week. I had FH order me an invisible ink pen and at first he thought I was crazy. He quickly realized last week the genius hack that this is. Waiting to see how many we get back without a name

Am I the only one who just used a normal pen? I'm pretty anal about a lot of things, but a small number on the back corner of the card isn't going to bother anyone.

Consigning this hack (thanks WW). I used the invisible ink and needed it for a few RSVPs (blank names, illegible names).

I'm sure you aren't @Angela, and I don't think it's going to bother anyone. Personally, I just prefer not to see it. I also don't want a guest to potentially see it, and realize they are guest #170. They may or may not care, but they don't need to see/know the number of guests. They'll know it's a large (or small) wedding when/if they come.

We numbered ours! We made a list of our guests and then numbered the RSVP cards correspondingly. We put the number on the back. I don't really care if anyone sees it. ETA our highest number was 65

I actually had trouble making out one of my numbers when I couldn't make out the name on the front. I was like welp, joke's on me!

I bought an invisible ink pen from the book fair at work. I numbered my RSVP card and my envelope. A bride here said she received an empty envelope. No RSVP card inside

I used a regular pen and my FSIL said "why does mine say 7 on the back?" I explained and she thought it was awesome.

My best friend put our names on our envelope flap for the rsvp. I thought that was a good idea.

@Angela I didn't use a regular pen for 2 reasons. 1. The back of my cards are black as is the edging on the front. 2. I didn't want people to see the number and get their panties in a twist because they were number 100 and not 1 or 2. Less grief.

I used the invisible ink as well. FH thought it was really cool! Haven't received any reply cards with no names yet.
