I put our response date to a month prior to our October 10th date, our venue requires a final count 10 days before the event, so it gives us a little bit of time to follow up with those who have not responded.

I’d say 30 days max

I asked about 40 days before because the venue needs an exact count and what food options for everyone two weeks before the wedding date. I wanted to give myself a couple extra weeks to follow up with those we had not heard from.

OMG, with this pandemic...it's exciting but nerve-racking at the same time! I sometimes wish it was further away. I do not have family in Florida so, travel is required for a good chunk of my side of the guest list. I honestly don't even know if we will be having the wedding then or doing a smaller event due to everything going on.
