I know I know! Yall heard it all before! but why won't these people simply say yes or no and put the already stamped envelope in the mail!!?? I know I know! Yall heard it all before! but why won't these people simply say yes or no and put the already stamped envelope in the mail!!?? I am beginning to regret inviting half the people that I invited for this reason alone!! I could be over reacting but when I call them to ensure whether they will be there some are like sooooo nonchalant about! Its like some people think She want me there she better make an extra effort!! When inside I have started thinking to myself fine the less people the less money we will be paying! #STRESSING OUT Smiley amazing

I'm not sure to send invites until October, but BC everyone is OOS, I'm sending them in September. however, our website CLEARLY states that those who don't rsvp, there will be standing room only, and they'll be responsible for posting the normal admission of $5/pp for the park entry, versus us paying in advance for those that rsvp on time.

    Ughhhhhh, I hate this. *hugs*

About 99% of my guests are coming from out of town (not a destination wedding, we just moved to a new state). I'm REALLY hoping that this RSVP situation will be better. It's harder to just pop up at a wedding you have to fly to...right? *fingers crossed*

@Monica M: It is hard to just pop up. Lol. But we had one person who didn't turn in the rsvp card yet (deadline today) just happen to pop up and tell my fh on facebook (in a private message) that he brought his plane ticket yesterday. Smh. I had to laugh because if he didn't tell us in time, his feelings would have been hurt by just "popping up and not rsvping for an out of state wedding.

OMG thanks so much ladies for the comments! We sent out maybe 95 invites and I have only received maybe 30 and that's being generous! but some of these 30 have families of 5 that weren't really thought of during this planning process! lol I am not sure where we went wrong but obviously something went wrong for us to be over our limit already. Also, I realized I hadn't really thought to count the wedding party and their spouses lol so there are extra people that were my fault for not thinking clearly.

FSIL is one of those people who believes "you only rsvp if you're going". NO. WRONG. I DON'T THINK SO.

Hi Tiffany D. I think that the reason I decided to go on and do a destination wedding is because I didn't want to deal with guests & others taking my wedding lightly, meaning atleast be considerate. That is crazy that you should even have to reach out to people to make sure they will be rsvp-ing or not. Sucks!

I am having the same issues. i am in the process of calling everyone who hasn't respond to ask if they're coming. I am still getting "I am not sure" answers. I plan to re-call a week before my final count and if I don't receive a yes or no answer then I am un-inviting the "unsure" guest.

This portion of the wedding process has been the most stressful for me.

This has to be my favorite subject. Okay that is a lie. It drives me freaking crazy!!! I put a stamp on the damn thing and you have to tick a box if your coming or not and put it in the mail. I keep saying they must have needed the stamp and took it off and used it for something else. Yes people actually called and told me so they could save the stamp (yep the stamp I paid for). Whatever.

We are at 55 of 87 invites for rsvp returned. Yes it will make the numbers great BUT I want to make sure I have enough tables and chairs up so you do not have to sit on the damn floor. The food is not an issue, there will be plenty and then some.

My daughter just called someone to see if they were coming. nope I am in my cousins wedding. OMG you did not know that before now?

Miss Manners was not passed down in some families.

I am considering putting it on my info sheet that will go in with the invites that anyone who doesn't respond by the date will not get fed...

All but 4 people on my stepdad's side of the family...didn't ever reply. They are the biggest rude bunch of people, luckly I knew they wouldn't go oot for a wedding. Just breathe and go through bugging people if you still get nothing out of them...count them out! It was the most stressful thing with all of my planning and finally my fh told me" if people are gonna be rude owell don't let it ruin our day!" He was right.

I'm not as close to the day as you are but I'm also frustrated. I have a few people who have said they booked the hotel or that they can't wait to see us at the wedding yet I haven't gotten an RSVP back from them! How hard is it??

Jamie, we had people tell us before the invites went out that they would not be sending back the rsvp but they will be at the wedding. OMG really! They said oh they are such a pain in the ass to send back. OMG how hard is it to tick a box and put it in the mail? I would love to show them what is really a pain in the ass and hard to do.
