Hey all!

If I could give you advice - it would be STAMP your RSVP's and LABEL THEM! I put all the guests in an excel sheet from both sides so I could track which guests got theres sent yet. And then whatever number they were in excel, I wrote that number real small on the bottom corner of our RSVP postcards. I have received 2 so far without a name on them so now I'm beyond thankful that I did it! Also, I think we're getting a lot of RSVP cards back, both attending and not attending, because we stamped them! I would 100% recommend doing this. Such a small thing, but totally worth it. Thoughts?

Happy planning !

Oh my God I thought it was only me.... Like please stop randomly telling me at random events and times that you are coming to the wedding, just send back your response card that way there is no confusion or misunderstandings. I especially told people this because my reception is RSVP only. If you DO NOT respond you will not get in... I hate that I cant invite everyone but we cant afford that. So it doesn't matter who it is if you do not rsvp you will not be getting in...

I totally agree with you! I do not want to check **** places for if you are coming or not! I did that with email address and then deleted the texts before I wrote them down and then had to ask again! Some people are like "I said I was coming" and I was like stop because so did so and so for months and then they RSVPed no! I am not trying to be a "bridezilla" here but like it is just plain rude! I told my fiance that if he reaches out to his friends and family and they verbally say yes, that is a no to me. I want the damn card back.

LOL yes someone that finally feels my pain. Me and my lil cousin was arguing last weekend we had a cousins night so of course no wedding stuff cause me and his sister is getting married 2 weeks apart so when we are all together it just easier for neither one of us to talk wedding stuff so we don't over shadow each other. This nut (her brother) I gave him his invite instead of him just filling it out and handing it back to me he was like I am coming but I am not sending the rsvp. I said well you wont get in. He was like yeah our cousins will let me in.. I said listen to me carefully I don't care who you are if I don't have an rsvp card when I sit down and do the seating chart you are not coming in. That goes for brother, aunts, whoever its enough stress just doing all this... Then my brother did the same thing I said ok get embarrassed if you want too. I will not have guest that has rsvp'd get there and there are no seats cause uninvited ppl showed up... Not at my wedding NOPE... Sorry not really

I am sure it is proper etiquette, but I have had wedding invites with RSVPs that did NOT come stamped more than I have that did come already stamped! And I just did postcards so I didn't need their return address or anything, just their names but even then a lot of his side has the same last name so Mr. So and So would've have helped me at all! lol

sorry if this is hard to see! I have the "How many?" column set up to add up to a total at the bottom so I know how many from my side and how many from his side easier than having to count them up! I use excel for college and work a lot so this has helped me, as excel can be freakin tricky! lol guest list rsvp Advice that I'm thankful i Did! 1

We stamped ours and did the number in the corner thing, BUT a lot of people just threw away the RSVP envelope with a stamp so that was basically a waste of money.

Yes! I did the same! I wrote numbers at the back of the RSVP cards. I got this tip from an older post from here too. I just sent the invitations yesterday so crossing my fingers!
