Hi everyone! We are worried about some of FH's family adding kids/guests that aren't invited to the RSVPs. Has anyone used the __ of __ guests attending RSVPs? Like we would fill it out to be how many are invited.. i.e. __ of 2 guests attending? Wondering if this has worked for anyone.. or not...

I'm doing the same. On certain ones that we think may not get the hint, we are stating that we reserved a certain number of seats for them but ,I did put please right the name of every guest attending on ALL RSVP cards.

Yes I agree with this. I know it goes against traditional etiquette but I personally don’t see why it’s bad to put something about adults only on the invite. If someone is offended by that then they are too sensitive in my opinion.

Thank you for this. Even after they put that on the invites, a lot of family (many on my side too) were still calling and asking to bring their kids. It sucks that it had to be explained but it’s even worse that when it’s that clear, people still try to invite kids and get offended when they’re not able to.

This is so true. 1. It’s OKAY to have a night without the kids. 2. For the couple getting married, their children still add up when it comes to cost.
I’m excluding children due to my strict guest list. I’d rather invite our adult friends than “HAVE” to include 2nd cousins young children.
