Rompers?

So, we're planning on having a rustic themed wedding at the most beautiful venue. I've already bought my dress and have a lot of things planned out already, but I'm stumped on the bridesmaids and groomswomen's outfits! I love these rompers and they look like they'd be flattering on a range of sizes....

I really need some feedback

A romper would be a hard no from me. Not flattering to my figure and I don’t find them cute even on the thinnest of models. If I were a BM and told I would be wearing a romper, I’d drop out in a hot second.

I would ask your ladies before making the decision to go with rompers. There are a lot of women that don't like rompers or wouldn't be comfortable wearing something that short.

Yeah, I'd definitely ask first to see what your ladies think. I have actually never worn a romper for the same reason I don't wear those one-piece leotard-like tops... I don't like making it harder to pee than necessary.

Additionally, I would feel very uncomfortable in a romper just because... I have never worn one before and would not be used to wearing one. Plus, while I'm no prude, those do seem awfully short for a bridesmaids dress. (On my own time I don't mind showing some skin, but do I want to show skin in front of your grandmother? Ergh.) And if you've got ladies with thunder thighs, it would probably cause chafing, particularly if the material was polyester (which it probably is). Plus, you'd probably need to have some fashion tape on hand for the bustier ladies.

I mean, it is possible that your bridesmaids will go for it, as many people do love rompers, but since they're not as "standard" an article of clothing as a dress is, it's likely that you'll at least have one BM who is not comfortable with it.

Yeah everyone would have to try them on. They look awful on me but my best friend looks amazing in them so it’s hit or miss.

I've seen some cute PJ rompers for getting ready in!

I wasn't intending on just making them buy anything before trying it on. The rompers were just one thought of manySmiley smile

^this, definitely try them in in person. Every summer I try on a romper and every summer I remember they look terrible on me. They can be a hard thing to wear.
