Hello Ladies Smiley smile ,

I am not sure who is from CT or not but i need help please. My finance and i are getting married on November 7th, 2020 we are going to wait to go on our honeymoon since at this moment we cannot afford one due to the fact that we are paying for the wedding ourselves. My question is we would like to go away at least for a few days after the wedding at least three days so we can enjoy some alone time due to kids being home.. lol. Can anyone offer on and BNB or a nice not to crazy expensive nor to far location where we can go away for a few days and just enjoy eachother's company as newlyweds Smiley heart ? Any suggestions will be so helpful.. Thank you again! Smiley shame

    I’m originally from CT and now live in Maine and would totally recommend anywhere in the Portland area for a short getaway! Lots of amazing restaurants, shops, etc. If you’re outdoorsy, plenty of beautiful hikes that aren’t too far away! And generally speaking Maine is pretty reasonable financially.

    Try Groupon they have great rates for staycations. If you want to weekend out of the country, they have very inexpensive all inclusive trips to Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

    I'm in NY and looking at the same thing right now - we're marrying oct 23 - idk how far you're willing to drive but maybe the poconos? Lake George, NY, - i was considering Vermont

    Walden Pond, MA

    or try Newport, RI.

    Personally i was considering just renting an Airbnb to ensure the social distancing etc.
