Roles for Little Boys

Could he carry a sign like this?

If you're having programs he could hand those out, or help out as an usher.

I think having him hand out programs or help as an usher is a great idea!

Another idea is that he could be a 'page' and hold the bride's train as she walks down the aisle.

Do you think one of these roles could work?

I agree that the little boy could hold a sign. That is what we are doing. Our 2 1/2 year old nephew is being our ring bearer but my 5 year old cousin is being in the processional as our "sign holder". It's a great way to include another little guy!

Why can’t he also be a ring bearer? There’s nothing saying you can’t have 3. You could also have him carry a sign as well

We’re having 3 ring bearers (all of my nephews). My oldest nephew is carrying the ring box and the other two will be carrying signs. One says “best day ever” and the other says “here comes your bride.” This may be an idea. 😊

He’s definitely not too young to be a junior groomsman. My 4 year old is going to be a junior groomsman in our wedding. Tho we are having a short ceremony, with Gramma sitting right up front, so if he needs to sit, he can.
