Robes, or pajama sets??

Felicia, on April 5, 2020 at 5:27 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 18
I’m trying to decide if robes or pajamas are better. I’m not a robe girl, so I feel it would be wasteful. I’m not sure my bridesmaids are robe gals either, but i’m open to the idea. On the other hand, robes are more forgiving if I get the wrong size, but pajamas are so stinking cute.

HELP!

I did PJ sets. I thought they would be more likely to wear them again!

I think I’m going to do the sleep shirt PJ’s. So it’s not shorts but it’s not a robe either. They can definitely use it again. I hope. I don’t even know if these exists....

I got robes for my girls. I didn't know what sizes the girls worn so I would have had to ask and the robes were a surprise.

I did robes just because ours is in August so it will be warm. I ended up getting their names on the robes instead of bridesmaid or Maid of Honor. I figured then they can wear them again if they’d like! I even found them for our 2 little flower girls Smiley smile

PJ's! I think the bridesmaids would get more use out of them.

I did robes just because I figured they are easier for sizing. They are gorgeous and I think the girls will love them!

Question 2 from this post - Where did you purchase the PJ sets?

I like the robes! And it seems to be more affordable! We went with blush pink and silver gray robes for my ladies

I got PJs! I think it's a personal preference my bridesmaids and even myself just preferred PJs because you can never have too many PJ sets, but you only really need 1 or 2 robed (and none of us really wear robes lol) So I wanted to give something my girls could reuse since I was spending money on them. I ended up getting mine from LOFT! I considered personalized ones from Etsy but then LOFT had such cute ones and they had a major 50% off sale so I went that route since they were great quality from a great store!

I would say pjs. Make sure you take the weather into consideration. You can also just do Tshirts that match.

I would prefer to receive PJ's, especially because if your girls end up being in lots of other bridal parties they'll eventually have like 6 robes. PJ's are more unique. The bridal party I was just in had us wearing big comfy flannels, it was really cute for photos!

I didn't do either. I flat out refused to give robes. I wanted to do something different. I had nine women and one man in my party, so I decided to go as unisex as possible. I posted some photos a year ago of what I gave them, so you should be able to find them on my profile.
