Ring warming ceremony

Has anyone incorporated a ring warming in your ceremony? I just came across the concept and I love it! If you plan on using this in your ceremony, how did you do it and what wording will you use? How do you plan to have them monitored and moving throughout the ceremony? We have about 120 guests and our ceremony will be very short and sweet so I am worried we will not have enough time.

I had to google what this was lol. I think its a really cute idea! I am not doing this but I think if I would I would leave them at the beginning of the aisle so before people find a seat they can read a little blurb about what to do, do it and then find a seat. I would have an usher or someone stand near the rings to watch and make sure everything goes smoothly. Once we were about to start I would have the usher grab the rings and bring them to the BM/ ring barer or whoever.

I have seen couples tie the rings to a board or a table as guests enter the ceremony area instead of passing the rings through the crowd.

We did this. We had our wedding bands tied to a cushion in a custom made box I got on Etsy. Our best man then gave them to the first person in the first row and it started the chain of everyone on one side passing the box to each other. Once the box got to the end of one side, the best man took them to the other side until everyone had seen/blessed them. We had a cellist and violinst perform The Prayer while the rings were being passed around. Our pastor said something about blessing them and our union but I don't remember his exact words. We only had 40 guests so this worked well. I'm not sure how long it would take for 120 guests but if you have music playing and plan to have a longer ceremony then this may work. Our ceremony was about one hour but that was mainly because the pastor gave a message about marriage that was about 20 minutes.

    Hey there, Beth!

This is such a beautiful way to include guests in your wedding Smiley heart

I was at a wedding where a ring warming was performed and the guest list was 100+. The rings were only given to family members in the first two rows. Perhaps you could limit the amount of people involved if you're having a short ceremony?
