RICE TOSS---YES OR NO??

I've seen pictures where people have done sprinkles and I think it looks so sweet if that's towards your wedding, it was also a carnival themed wedding so it made sense

Rice is outdated (and what a waste of food :] )

We're not having anything tossed on us, but I have heard of flowers petals, confetti, things like that. Just make sure your venue allows it!! Mine does not allow confetti or anything that could get stuck in the carpets.

Bubbles or seeds work if you want to do the toss

We didn't do anything since we actually left the church first. Most places I think have stopped the rice thing.

I think it's actually illegal to throw rice in texas. You can do birdseed or confetti.

It's illegal in a lot of places because of what Mrs. K said. I would find an alternative. Some people opt to throw bird seed.

No rice or bird seed .... rice blows (expands) up in birds belly and kills them and no seeds b/c birds come down to eat it and can get killed by cars and such or in peoples' way .... bubbles are good. if your wedding is in the evening, sparklers are GORGEOUS!

Mine is an evening wedding soooo.....glowsticks? lol. Probably nothing, to be honest.

Not doing any of it! Bubbles stains on dark colors and our GMs and BMs are both in black, and of course my groom.

I really really want a rice toss, but I think we are going to use popcorn instead.
