Revealing your dress to your fiancé pre wedding

I did, he helped me put it on. I wanted to keep it a surprise but it got too hard to do that when I need help to button it up and what not lol

He saw mine because I needed him to zip it up so I could take pictures in it. We were non traditional so it worked out for us.

No problem with showing him. And he probably won’t remember after a week. Even those who wait for it to be a “special surprise” can ask their husbands a week later to describe the dress and he probably won’t be able to very well. So how special was you dress to him in that moment after all? Lol!

At the ceremony & reception, too much excitement is going on, you and FH’s attention is pulled in so many directions and the day moves too quickly for a man to scrutinize your wedding dress in the midst of all that (unless he’s majorly into ladies’ fashion like that).

I showed pics of multiple dresses I liked beforehand (some of which HE didn’t like). And out of the ones we both liked, I showed FH the dress I selected. Also FH and I are seeing each other before the ceremony. So in that intimate time, we’ll both be able to stop and truly take in each other, take in the details of our attire, take in the moment, etc. Instead of him seeing me only when everyone else sees me walk down the aisle and he’s nervous and too mentally overwhelmed to take it all in.

I actually showed FH a picture of me wearing it after I bought it (half body pic) because he wanted to see. He does not remember what it looks like anymore. Lol

I decided not to show him, I've done good so far but I want to show him really badly. I've almost caved a few times but this is the exact reason that I tol my mom she's not alklowed to send me the pictures. FH doesn't want to see it and I don't want him to either. Mainly because I'm superstitious.

I have not yet, but I am dying to!! We are 51 days away, so I think I'll make it lol. But I don't think there is anything wrong with it! He is the one who wants to be surprised, so that's why I haven't shown him yet.
