Reusing Bridesmaids Bouquets?

I was wondering if anyone used their bridesmaids bouquets as part of the reception decor after? I have 6 bridesmaids and I was thinking of getting my planner to quickly swipe away the bouquets from the girls after photos to place them in various spots of our reception ie. at the ends of the bar etc....

I have 6 bridesmaids and I was thinking of getting my planner to quickly swipe away the bouquets from the girls after photos to place them in various spots of our reception ie. at the ends of the bar etc.

The flowers will be need to be kept in water anyway should the girls want to keep them so I thought rather than have such beautiful flowers hidden indoors or laid on tables drying out I could place them in water jars and use them as addition decor. This way the girls can still pick them up at the end of the night and still keep them should they wish.

Thoughts?

We did this! My bouquet was our centerpiece for our sweetheart table. BM bouquets were used on the cake table, and guestbook/seating chart table. I *think* also on the bar. There were 7 of them, so we had a bunch to work with.

My DOC just suggested this and I think it's a great idea! We'll definitely be doing it.

Yes! My friend just did this at her wedding. After photos, we were told to carry it to one of the tables and they had vases all set up.

I had 2 BMs. Their bouquets were repurposed to spruce up the cake table.

My bridesmaid bouquets will be in pretty vases on the bar! I think it's a great idea to reuse them.

I re-used my bouquet as part of the centerpiece for our sweetheart table. It turned out really nice. The bridesmaid bouquets stayed with the bridesmaids. I just couldn't figure out a good idea in time for them.

I've seen that done when I was a bridesmaid. They had pre-filled vases and we just put them in after introductions.
