Reuse ceremony chair flowers for reception?

I'm having trouble dealing with the price for the flowers for the ceremony...I mean, it's literally 30minutes and then they're just going to go into the bin?!?! So. I was thinking of asking if we could re-use the flowers from the ceremony for the reception tables; does that sound feasible? I just...

So. I was thinking of asking if we could re-use the flowers from the ceremony for the reception tables; does that sound feasible?

I just can't deal with wasting £300 for 30 minutes (we are also having a floral arch for the ceremony)

The guests will be having appetisers between the ceremony and dinner (around 1hr) so I think there must be enough time for them to move them - but wanted to know if this was even a 'done' thing?

It is completely doable. I will be reusing a lot of the flowers from my ceremony for the reception. Thankfully my Florist is also a DOC and event planner. So he is going to be moving them for us.
