Return address on back flap of envelope?

I have never heard of this issue and also had never heard about etiquette of putting the return address on the back. Good to know!

I did ours on the back for STDs months ago and invitations ~3 weeks ago and and nothing has come back.

We had 2 come back to us this way, out of 115 that we sent out.

About a third of our invites were delivered back to us because of this. The second time, we went into the post office to do it. That time, none of them were sent back.

Formal invites have been printed with return address on the back flap for decades. The postal worker who put them in backwards made an error. This doesn't happen often.

I had mine on the back - it was a round sticker I ordered from WPD. I didn't have any issues.

We put our return address on the front, upper left corner, because that's what the US post office recommends. Everything goes on one side.

We are doing ours on the back for the save the dates. Not sure what we will do for wedding invites, but other wedding invites I have received in the past have done this and I don't see where there were any issues.

I have a stamper with our address. I started stamping a few envelopes for std. hopefully this doesn't happen to us

We had ours on the back, sent 135 invites, zero issues.

Ours was on the back and everything got to the right addresses. Don't worry about this too much.

I put labels on the back flap and none got returned to me.

I just sent out mine and more than half of them came back. I swear I'm about to die.

Did they compensate you at all? We ordered expensive custom stamps
