Return address name??

Will the post office deliver without a last name? We live together. I just used my current name.

We are using just first names

When I looked for addresss labels on Shutterfly for non-wedding mail last year, they had several designs that were first names only. When I printed return addresses on our STDs, I just copied those with our first names only, and then our address.

I have read that if it's before the marriage occurs it use your current names. Only after the marriage do you start using your new married name (should you choose to change it)

I originally ordered a stamp that had just our first names, but when we got our invitations designed the designer did our return address on our envelopes with just our last names (My last name & FHs Last name). He also had it printed on our RSVP envelopes.

"HisLastName / MyLastName"

My full name is really long, so we just went with both last names. We put his first since I'll be taking it afterwards, but I don't think that's a thing... it also just looked nicer in that order. We would have gone with first names only, but we live in an apartment building, so didn't want any mailbox confusion when RSVPs start coming in. The names on the envelope match our mailbox label.

Our thank you envelopes will just have his (our!) last name.

We just did first names. I ordered it early on in planning to be able to use for the bridal shower thank you cards as well as RD invites, but then still wanted to be able to use them for thank you cards after the wedding (and really before the wedding too since we started getting gifts early) so that's what made the most sense...and I can continue to use it. It was only $25 so no big deal if I eventually decide I'd like to have one with our last name...once I finally get it changed.

We did just first names.

I didn't have any issues with the post office.

For the RSVP and return address on the invitation we used The Future Mr. & Mrs. FH Last Name and then our address.

I bought a stamp with just our first names.

I used our last names in the following format MyLName-FHLName

I think I read somewhere that first names was the way to go or initials in the first names can be used as well.
