Heyy everyone,

Newly engaged bride here 👋🏻 My fiancé and I plan to get have a super small wedding ceremony in Central Park on October 2022. But the issue we’re facing is finding a place to eat afterwards. Preferably a place that has a private area and a pre fixed menu. Also, we need a place that doesn’t have vaccination restrictions as my side of the family isn’t but me, my fiancé and his family are. It’s been kind of difficult to find something.

It is legally required for NYC businesses to check vaccinations before guests dine in. If you want a place that doesn't have this requirement, look in Westchester County or tell those people they cannot be accommodated.

How do I delete a comment because yours was very unhelpful. I know it’s legally required in NYC, but there are some restaurants that have outdoor areas, I just haven’t found them yet. Also. “Those people” are my parents and siblings, I’m not going to do that 👍🏻

With the NY weather, it may be uncomfortable to eat in a structure outside. Plus, we don't know if those will still exist in October. I would recommend Westchester County or Long Island as there have not been changes to indoor dining vax requirements since mandated.

Hi! My venue has a a beautiful outdoor garden and because it is technically outdoors they said they don’t require to check vax status. Im on the exact boat as you with family. My wedding is October too. The restaurant is called Bottino and they have prix fixe. I’m sure there are other spaces in the city too. Good luck!!
