Rescheduled wedding date

I'm not sure what you mean by selling the date though?

I’ve had several people message me about selling my wedding day and have no idea what it means so that’s why I’m asking

I’m also sorry about your FH’s diagnosis. I’m also not sure what people mean by “selling the date”. I would talk to your venue about what they say about cancelling (I would hope they wouldn’t have any fees or penalties because of the reason) and then they will be able to reach out to people that were interested in the date. I’m not sure it’s something you are able to “sell”.

Have you already notified the venue? I think they mean to buy you out of the date since you will no longer be using that venue. You need to talk to the venue about it and make sure this is in fact an option, but if it's fully paid you can sell the space you reserved for a price and if you are making payments you can try to recouperate some (or all) of the money you already spent and they can take over the remainder of you contracted payments.

I am so sorry about your FH's diagnosis, I can't even imagine how the both of you must feel! I hope he is able to undergo good treatments and have a positive outcome! My thoughts are with the both you and your families.
