Do not order a replica. It's cheaper for a reason.

I wouldn't recommend it either, a cheaper replica might end up costing more at the end (eg. if you totally hate it, might end up buying another one)

Problem with replica is it will never be the same because you can't see all the details on pictures alone. If you must buy online, you should go with a dress maker who will do custom design. Of course you would want someone who is reputable. Most wedding dress uses silk and bridal lace such as alencon lace. The higher end designer brand even use silk lace. I hope these info. help.

Oh god, please don't get a replica. I fell in love with Pronovias Georgia...and I got her at a bridal consignment shop. She'd been worn once and I got her for a third of my budgeted amount!

Maybe you could find it pre-owned or a sample? I got my dress pre-owned for 1/2 price, and it had never even been worn (she had just changed her mind about what dress she wanted). Maybe you will get lucky.

There are some people on Etsy that recreate dresses, perhaps look into that? Just make sure they are using quality materials and have TONS of good reviews. There are too many horror stories about people ordering a replica and having it come in with all kinds of problems. The amount they pay in alterations or buying a new dress is not worth it.

Ladies, thank you all so much for your responses. I'm going to get on the hint for a preowned dress. The bridal shop told me this was the 2014 collection so I'm not sure it will be easy to find.

If you order online, I would recommend ordering from a company based in the US, not China. We are located in California and have a good review rating on weddingwire.com.
