Rehearsal then dinner help

My dad died when I was 14. I’m getting married next October but my brother is walking me down the aisle. They make stuff for people like other family members who have walked them down the aisle. I plan to do something similar. I think any gift that says thank you for taking the place of my dad would be special to your uncle. Maybe get him a card saying thank you and maybe like a little picture frame that you can put a wedding picture in that says something for your uncle?

There’s so many ideas and although you see a lot of things like “for my dad” on my wedding day... that’s not always the case these days and if someone loves you enough to fill those shoes for your dad then he will be grateful for anything. If it’s you dad’s brother that’s the uncle then letting him walk you down the aisle is probably extremely special for him in itself!!
