Rehearsal dinner slideshow!

It sounds great. Just watch your timing.

Can I make one suggestion? I think it's a cute idea. But please just have it playing in the background. Please don't make everyone sit down and watch the slideshow at once. That is awkward. I've been there, and people really don't enjoy having to do that, and it is just.. awkward.

I'd have the slideshow on a loop and the music quiet, and people can enjoy watching it on their time.

We had a slide show playing for the whole reception.. With no music that went with the pictures (they were all mixed together - young and old, DH, me, photos together and not together). The DJ just played his regular music while the slide show was on in the background.

We have it during the rehearsal dinner and not the wedding so it's not awkward! Lol it's only going to be our close family and friends - the people actually in the wedding - there on the rehearsal. Also we really wanted to include the 2 songs and the video... And playing that over and over again would get annoying so playing it in the background on repeat is not an option lol

All I can think about is How I Met Your Mother.

I was thinking of doing this at a get together after the wedding , no music just pics of the wedding weekend and past pics of us. I'm not sure how to project it tho....guess borrow someone's ?

@Cass if you do that I would suggest doing it after you have picked the photos for your album. My fsil did this after the wedding but had every single shot the photographer. It was long and boring and by the time we left, we still hadn't seen them all.

I went to a rehearsal dinner where the MOH surprised the bride and groom with a slideshow and it was played after everyone had eaten. It was really sweet and everyone enjoyed it.

I feel like the best way to do this is in a loop in the background. Don't make people sit and watch it.
