Rehearsal Dinner Pizza Party???

No seriously...Is it really cheap to do pizza or qdoba catering for a rehearsal dinner? I'm getting married at the Rusty Pelican in Tampa and we can't do an actual rehearsal there because they have weddings on Friday nights, so really it's just dinner. I'm going to pair up the bridesmaids and...

No seriously...Is it really cheap to do pizza or qdoba catering for a rehearsal dinner? I'm getting married at the Rusty Pelican in Tampa and we can't do an actual rehearsal there because they have weddings on Friday nights, so really it's just dinner. I'm going to pair up the bridesmaids and groomsmen myself and just briefly go over what everyone can expect.

My FH's father is giving us a lump sum for our honeymoon so the $$ will be coming out of that fund for the rehearsal.

The least expensive I've found is $26/person at a local restaurant, but with 30 people it's basically a mini-wedding!

    Our rehearsal dinner will actually be at a minor league baseball game - make it what you want it,,,

    Why not? It is economical...everyone loves pizza! Winner! Your family/friends who are apart of your wedding I am assuming your dearest people in your life, so I doubt they would mind having a small pizza party! My wedding planner has restaurants in Italy and one of the nights he's bringing to the villas pizza and we are going to have a pizza party. I thought maybe doing that after our rehearsal. I haven't decided but I think it would be fun and relaxing with your loved ones. Im not sure if its what we are going to do for rehearsal or if I am just going to use my pizza party on another day while we are there. Smiley smile

    I really want to do something small cheap but cute, my FH and I , are paying for the whole wedding and we can afford having a fancy rehearsal dinner, I'm between pizza party or taco night , i don't want to add more stress. i just want to have a relaxing and fun night with family and friends.
