1) Casual - Have a catered meal at our home.

2 Formal - Dinner at a gated community country club

What is the appropriate etiquette for a rehearsal dinner?

I personally think casual and fun is the way to go. Who wants to have a semi-formal event the night before a semi-formal event? Smiley winking

Keep it casual so you can relax and let loose. Smiley smile

We have 6 hours the night before (3pm to 9pm) to decorate the venue, and doing the rehearsal around 7pm. Ordering pizzas with beer, wine and soda.

We were going back and forth about this as well. We decided on having the rehearsal at one of our favorite restaurants. All of our family is oot so we thought it would be neat to take them there. The restaurant is an old church so you kinda still get that wedding vibe and they get to eat amazing food.

I decided against having it at our house because I would have to make sure the house is spotless if we are having people over. None of our family has seen our house so they would want a full blown tour. I knew around that time the house would look like a bomb went off. I didn't want to add more stress to either of us.

    Good luck!

Casual. And the least stress for you possible.
