Registry???

I only did a couple of registries. Macy's gave us a gun to scan. Of coarse we went to one of their sip and scan parties. Target I did online and it was easy. JCPenney don't let you scan everything is done online. I stop adding registries so we wouldn't get duplicate gifts.

I'm just looking to do Target, Wal-Mart and Bed Bath And Beyond

Bed Bath and Beyond gives you a scan gun when you go. They also give you a consultant that walks around with you to "help". We thought this was great at first but started to feel pressured to ask for stuff, and ended up putting stuff on there we didn't want just to shut them up and removed later lol. When we went back for round 2 to finish up I asked to go alone and it was wayyyy easier and quicker for us. Just an FYI you don't HAVE to have the person walk around with you.

We did target so that we could get things besides just home stuff. We registered for a few things from the website but decided we would really like to see it all in person and plus a lot of the things online are only online......target gave us a gun and allowed us to add stuff onto our registry we had already started online. They were very nice and helpful.

Target, and bed bath n beyond we did, and we walked around with the gun and scanned what we wanted. I then went home, and compared the 2 registries for duplicate gifts. I left the one with the better price on it so that my guest are not shelling out an arm and a leg for the gifts.

Bed, Bath, & Beyond gives you a gun, but like the others have suggested definitely go without the consultant. Ours walked us through the china, but she was already getting pushy & time-consuming by that point so throughout the rest of the store we opted to go alone. Plus, I'm sure we had much more laughs/jokes than we would have if she was around.

Target also gives you gun, which I found easier to use. They were also much more friendly there!

It's all easy & a lot of fun! We did both stores in one which turned into a very long day though, just to forewarn you there. Break it up if your schedules allow.
