Registry Page Etiquette help!

I know you're not supposed to mention gifts or your registry per proper wedding etiquette. But, several friends and family members keep asking about where we're registered (we aren't registered anywhere yet since we still have 10 and a half months till our wedding). I'm trying to put together our registry page on our WW website so that once we do have registries built I can make that page live. I just don't know what to say on it so people don't feel like they're required to buy something. Personally I'd be happy with just getting cards and our guests enjoying celebrating with us. What did you put or any cute ideas on how to word things would be a huge help.

Just put the wedding website on the invitation and have a simple link to your registry or registies on the applicable page of the website. No need to comment.

I put this on our wedding website registry page. His very conservative mother loved my note.

"We do not want anyone to feel obligated to bring a gift, your presence at our celebration is more than enough.

However, if you are interested in our registries, they are below."

Relax girl! You are doing everything right You and FH just need to go get registered at a few stores and put it on your wedding website. I added a little comment like, "We appreciate you coming from far and wide to be with us this summer. Your attendance is as good a gift as any. However, in the event you would like to add a little shimmer to our home, check out our wants over at Crate & Barrel!" Presto!

We said something along the lines of, "While your presence is gift enough, if you are feeling particularly generous, here are a few things we would love to have as newlyweds.."
