Registery wording help?!

Normally registry information goes on your bridal shower invitations at the bottom. It just says Jane is registered at Target and Menards.

I don't have advice on wording but registry info should only go on shower invites. If you have a wedding website you can put it on there as well and then put your link to your website on STDs. No registry info should be included in wedding invitations.

First of all, you can't dictate how people post. Just say you're registered at Target and Menards. No mention of money or gift cards.

And no registry info in the actual invites.

We are not registered at Menards... just would prefer giftcards for there if we were to get some

Asking for gift cards is the same thing as asking for money which is incredibly rude. You also do not put registry information on your invitations.

You can't ask people for gift cards

You're asking for cash (basically) which is tacky and rude. So don't put anything like that on an insert.

You can create an actual registry at Lowe's, and I believe home Depot is working on one. Idk about Menards. I've never checked there. But creating a registry there may be your best option. Even just a small one.

Don't ask for cash or gift cards. And don't tell us how to comment.

"We are registered at Target, but if you would prefer, we are also collecting Menards gift cards to go toward our future home!"

Put whatever you want, wherever you want and ask for whatever you want because it's your day! If people have problems with that then they have their own issues to deal with.
