Recycled/used/clearance Wedding Decor

Is anyone using recycled/upcycled/used decor for their wedding? We are paying for the wedding ourselves and I don’t see the point in buying all new items when I can make/buy them used.
Which sites or resources are you using to buy the decor? I’ve seen a few items on Facebook Marketplace. I’ve also been buying out all the clearance items at home decor and craft stores that fit my theme. A lot of summer items are on clearance and my wedding is next summer. My mother keeps telling me to slow down on buying, but the summer item sales won’t last forever!

Hi Yam. Have you actually purchased anything from wedding recycle? I have been having problems with the site. I have made multiple inquiries about items on the site and no one has responded. I even tried to purchase something and it gavw me an we error. Were you able to use this site and actually purchase something? May w I'm doing something wrong. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

I’ve bought one thing, chair sashes. The sellers sometimes list items and go inactive, you know they’re just former brides, not shops so they’ll list it and forget. I didn’t have problems purchasing, no errors or anything. There’s also a ton of used wedding decor on Poshmark and Mercari, I bought a lot of things there.
