Recurring bad dream! Is it just me?

Yea i know i had multiple wedding dreams of the same topic.

are you nervous about something? for instance let's say your dream was about the photographer doing badly - is that something you're actually nervous about?

I didn't have the same nightmare, but I had multiple nightmares. Full disclosure, I have PTSD and have nightmares almost nightly so I guess that's nothing new. But in the last couple of months leading up to the wedding they were pretty much all wedding-related. I think I was able to brush them off easily enough because of my general propensity towards nightmares on a normal night. To me it just felt like the subject matter changed because my focus changed from normal life to wedding. If you're having the same nightmare over and over, it might help to focus in on what's going on in the nightmare and if those worries and fears are ones that you actually have. Just really get to the root of what's going on and WHY you're having them. Sometimes it's just an absolutely weird scenario that definitely won't happen, but you're stressed and your mind is bringing all of that out in your subconscious. Sometimes there's really a deeper issue that needs to be addressed.

I've had many wedding nightmares. They usually revolve around my dress because I haven't lost my COVID weight yet, nor have I tried on my dress since retrieving it from David's Bridal last year before they shut down. It's literally my worst nightmare. I can't remember the dream I had most recently, but a few weeks ago, I had a dream that my FH and I were driving TO our wedding together, and I was already in my dress, so I had to change ASAP once we got to the venue. The dress that my bridesmaids got for me was mermaid-style and see-through! I don't know how to stop them other than to just keep at it one day at a time.

I'm not afraid of being naked in church. I'm more afraid of my dress splitting in front of everyone.

I just remembered what my more recent disaster dream was. I dreamed that my bridesmaids all ditched me for MY bachelorette party! They did all the stuff that was planned by and for me, but they did it without me I had another dream where one of my bridesmaids got arrested for trying to buy drugs for the party, and then after she made bail, she was kidnapped by the drug dealer!

For some reason I have a recurring dream about losing or breaking my engagement ring! I'm sure that as my wedding date approaches the recurring dreams about wedding-related stuff going wrong will come haha...

I had a dream last night that i had to jump off the boat, save my photographer, and get the sails down during a storm lmao
