Rectangle centerpiece help!

Alma, on October 31, 2018 at 2:58 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 16
So I’m putting together ideas for my centerpieces... We are having rectangle tables and I cannot decide if we should use table runners or skip the table runner and just use the garland, or table runner only. Excuse the champagne flutes lol I didnt have enough vases at the time to work with so I just threw something together with them. I will be buying actual vases at the dollar store.

We also bought mason jars and will spray paint them gold and have real flowers and baby’s breath on them so guests can take home

I think table runner + garland looks best. It looks the most complete and tied together.

I agree. With the table runners looks the most put together.

I think the table runner and the garland looks great! You could skip the big fake diamonds, they will likely get in the way of plates, glasses, etc. and they're an added expense that doesn't really add much to the overall look.

Hi Alma! I agree, I also love the table runner and the garland together! Smiley heart They look great! Is your color palette blue, white, and gold?

The table runner adds a little more pop of color and puts it all together, plus it adds a more expensive look 😊

I also had rectangle tables. I used ivory silk tableclothes with garlands and candles of varying heights. In your examples, I think if you did just the garlands with the blue table runner with no tall vases of flowers or diamonds then that would look better overall.

Yes we're skipping the diamonds. I'm 100% sure they will end up on the floor or kids will throw them around lol

Your décor looks amazing!! That is exactly what I envisioned for my tables and I agree with your advice on skipping the tall vases. We bought 6 vases so I am thinking of having 2 on the edges of the cake table so we can get our moneys worth and maybe sell the other 4

I got them from a silk flower shop. They were $5 each which a great price compared to Michaels, or Amazon and I like that they are full. If you live in Houston, TX the store is called “Party Flowers” on Harwin street.
