I need help with a wedding timeline for four hr reception and an hr cocktail hour. Please help. Thank you in advance. Reception starting at 6pm - 10pm

I have a 4 hour window from cocktail hour through the reception, so I'm struggling with this, too. I googled a few different times,now I've found this to use to plan our event...

We did: 4:30 entrance, special dances, buffet opens, 5:30 toasts, group photo,5:45 dancing, 6:45 cake cutting, 7:50 last song and sparklers

Hi Rachel! This article has great scheduling tips and a sample timeline you can use as a starting point: 9 Wedding Day Timeline Rules Every Couple Should Follow.
For help speeding up some of the reception events, I definitely recommend doing your entrance & first dance right away at the start of the reception and having your spotlight dances & toasts while your guests are eating!
