If you have other desserts a dessert table is a good idea. Also it might not be a bad idea to have a table where your bridesmaid's can set their bouquets (in vases) this way they don't have to keep them at their table. We actually incorporated our bridesmaid bouquets as a backdrop on our guest book/seating chart table so it looked really cute and the bridesmaid didn't have to worry about someone bumping them and spilling them.

There were serving tables in the room on which the cocktail hour buffet food was served; they were later used for the dessert buffet. There were also smaller tables for the stations, but I think they were removed. There were high-top tables for guests in the cocktail hour room. There were regular height tables for 4 or 6? person, in the room adjoining the cocktail hour room, that were later used to feed vendors. There was one table that held the guestbook, mailbox for cards and the few boxed gifts that were received that night. There was a large, fancy, round wooden table, in the foyer of the wedding suite, that had a large centerpiece and the escort cards were put on that.

In the reception ballroom there were guest tables, our sweetheart table, the cake table and band stage, and that was it.

I'm having a guestbook and gift/card table combined. Cake table. Another table for setting out the slices of cake after it's been cut. (The original cake table is a tall, small, round table just to show off the pretty cake)
