Reception start & end time

What time is your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception starting? When are you ending the reception? I'm wondering if I should extend my reception a bit but I'm unsure. What are you all doing?

We're starting at 4:30, with the cocktail hour from 5-6 and reception going from 6-10:30. We could have gone up to midnight, but it's going to be a long day and I think it'll get to a point where we just want to unwind and be alone together.

12:30 ceremony and reception ends at 4:30 PM. We're not big on drinking (we can nurse a drink all night) and we're doing family pictures before the wedding so no real cocktail hour.

Our ceremony starts at 6 and we are going directly into dinner after and ending around 9:30pm. We are leaving for our honeymoon straight from the reception too.

Catholic ceremony at 3pm, cocktail hour 5-6pm, reception ends at 11pm. My dad is paying to extend the reception an hour because in his words, "with a five hour reception it's over just as the dance party is really getting started!"

Everything is happening at the same location, so no delays. Granted, the ceremony will be outside and the rest inside. But our coordinator will keep things moving along.

Catholic ceremony: 1-2pm (there's a Saturday mass at 3pm so we have to be out of there before then)

Pictures with guests after ceremony: 2pm-2:30pm

Pictures at venue's private garden (attached to the ballroom): 3pm-4:30pm (there's another reception in the ballroom starting at 5pm so we were told we have to be out of the garden by 4:45pm)

We booked the venue's art gallery for our reception.

    Tea ceremony: 5:30pm-6pm

    Cocktail hour: 6pm-7pm

    Reception: 7pm-1am
