Good morning girls! I'm wondering how many of you are wearing different shoes for the ceremony and reception. I would like to wear heels during the ceremony, but I want to be comfortable during the reception. My question is: Which type of heels/shoes are you wearing for your ceremony and reception? ...

I'm not sure yet but I'll probably wear my heels the whole time.

I will have 2 different shoes because my fiance wants me to wear my cowboy boots and I want to wear heels. So one will be for the ceremony and I'll switch for the reception

I'm wearing 2.2 inch heels for the ceremony and pictures. Depending on comfort ,may keep them on all night or switch to a pair of white lace toms for the reception.

I did the same as @MrsFallBride, heels then the wedge flip flops. I don't love the look of those, but didn't want my dress to drag. They were perfect!

Holy crap @Sasha, those barefoot sandals are AMAAAAAHZING.!!!

I, in my classy glory, went barefoot once my feet got tired.

I'm wearing these Jeffrey Campbell beauties for getting ready and the reception Smiley smile

They're comfy, all leather and go with my theme! Also super sparkly and pretty in person Smiley smile

I wore a mid-heel for the ceremony and changed into Betsey Johnson flats for the reception. Most brilliant gift from my Mom!

Honestly I just threw some flats on that I already had and did not regret it

I'd like to do the same as you! I intend to wear heels for the ceremony (which I already bought) and flats for the reception that are more comfortable. I haven't been able to find the flats yet.

I bought a pair of heels made for salsa dancing, which I wore for ceremony and reception (I don't salsa, but I figured if they had great reviews for a night of serious dancing, they would probably hold up well!) ..... I wore them for about 10 hours (through pictures, ceremony, and almost the whole reception) then kicked them off and went barefoot the last hour or so.

I'm not decided on this yet but one of my concerns with heels then flats is the Hem length of my dress. Not sure how that would work. Makes me lean more toward flats the whole time...KateSpade Keds actually.

Probably mid height heels for the ceremony. Not sure yet bcuz it will be outdoors on pavement and I don't want to risk falling. Possibly custom made bling sneakers for the ceremony.
