    We are having:

Appetizers are bruschetta and fig crostini

Main Meal buffet style, salad, bbq beef brisket, chicken limon, mac n cheese, garlic mashed potato and green beans there will also be bread and butter on table

dessert is an donut sundae bar, our venue makes their own apple cider donuts so will be served with whatever ice cream and toppings you want

not sure if doing a late night snack or upgrading appetizers - not serving specific drinks have to talk to venue about doing signature drinks but there will be a lot of different beers/wines and spirits

So before the ceremony guests will go to a "welcoming room" where they'll have champagne and hors d'oeuvres.

Cocktail hour will be heavy . . We get to choose 4 themed stations plus all other basic appetizers.

For the reception we have plated dinner, there's 10 options to choose from (I know that's a lot). They'll provide our cake and other desserts plus a coffee bar for fancy coffees.

We'll have open bar the whole night.

I'm honestly so excited for our food lol. Anyone in NYC go check out The Fox Hollow they're amazing!!!

We had little refreshments served prior to the ceremony -- water, tea, lemonade, shortbread cookies.

Once cocktail hour started, there was an open bar.

Appetizers: Caprese Skewers, Chicken Potstickers, Cheese & Crackers, Fruit & Dip.

Meal: Caesar Salad, Rolls, Cajun Butter Tri-Tips, Crab-stuffed Grouper, Lemon Garlic Green Beans, and Cheesy Potatoes. We did a "plated family-style" so each guest got everything.

Dessert: Marble cake with lemon curd filling and whipped buttercream, almond cake with strawberries & cream filling and american buttercream.

We had tandoori chicken salad cups, vegetarian samosas and beef welling bites as passed apps. We also had a slider station and mashed potato bar during cocktail hour.

Dinner was a buffet with a fish, chicken and strip steak carved to order with chimichurri. Sides were more mashed potatoes, savory bread pudding, Mac and cheese, an organic mixed greens salad and roasted veggies.
Dessert was a variety of mini desserts, including key lime pie and chocolate covered strawberries.

For cocktail hour we have 4 stations and other appetizers. We also have an open bar.

During the reception we are having a plated meal. Our guest will choose from 3 options (chicken, salmon, and a vegetable lasagna) with salad, vegetables.

Desert will be a cheesecake and we will have our cake sliced and put in a cake bag so that our guest can take home. They can eat if they choose too with the cheesecake.

We're doing a brunch vow renewal. I don't have anything set in stone, but here is my current idea dump (sorry, kind of long):

Pre-ceremony: gourmet coffee and tea station with some small breakfast bites - I'm thinking mini fruit cups and mini croissants, something light that won't ruin appetites, but will tide people over until the meal. I just suspect that based on timing, people will skip breakfast and try to hold out for the meal (because the meal will be early - probably around 11:30), and I'll have hangry guests grumping their way through the ceremony. No hangry guests!

Brunch: some kind of egg bar, either made-to-order omelets or scrambled eggs; biscuits and gravy; mini waffles; fresh fruit and vegetable displays; mini Cubanos; mini tea sandwiches (roasted chicken salad and cucumber cream cheese); some kind of vegetarian flatbread pizza (spinach-artichoke or margherita); some kind of sushi/poke station; and a taco/taco salad bar as a "lunchy" companion to the egg bar.

Dessert: I want a cake, darn it! So we'll probably do a small cake, flavor TBD but I'm leaning toward a white cake with dark chocolate ganache filling. Then looking at a breakfast-style sweet - one of the caterers I'm considering does a "flaming donut" station that intrigues me - and something light and fresh like fruit sorbet. I have to really watch myself here because I am a sweets fiend, and if I don't strictly tell myself TWO NON-CAKE SWEET SELECTIONS ONLY, we'll end up with 27 desserts.

Drinks: we're doing two signature drinks. Margaritas (my hubby's go-to, just a good old classic margarita) and blueberry-lavender lemonade (non-alcoholic, my choice.) Even though it's a brunch, I'm probably skipping mimosas - none of our guests would choose a mimosa over the margarita or lemonade.

My vision is basically mini foods and small plates, so everyone can have as much or as little of anything (or everything) they want. We have a small, intimate guest list, so I have a general idea of what everyone likes and dislikes and those selections don't just cover everyone - they give everyone something they'll really enjoy eating (our families will go bonkers for the taco bar and our friends will all go for the sushi, with everyone meeting in the middle on the breakfast, sandwiches, and flatbread.)

We're doing an early afternoon ceremony followed by an hors d'oeuvres reception.

Hors d'oeuvres: crab cakes w/remoulade dipping sauce, spring rolls w/sweet chili sauce, carne asada pinwheels, cheese & bread board, chips & salsa

Alcoholic drinks: beer (many bottled options provided by venue), wine (red Zinfandel, rose, and a white- probably a pinot grigio), champagne (for toast, but also available afterward).

Non-alcoholic drinks: sparkling cider (for toast only), various sodas, lemonade or iced tea (provided by venue, but I can't remember offhand which one it is...), water

Dessert: chocolate wedding cake, funfetti cupcakes, chocolate chip cookies (probably- we're still undecided on this)

Have you checked in eith your cateter about the 10 options? I went to a wedding with 8 options and dinner took FOREVER, I'm convinced that was why. Maybe something to talk to the cateter about to make sure he/she has the necessary staff and resources to really do 10 options

They have a restaurant adjacent to the venue. They have really good reviews all around. I'm sure it'll be fine. Anyway we'll have plenty food before dinner so if it does take long I don't think anyone will mind lol.

We are having an 'opening cocktail hour' before the ceremony to open up our bar for the night as guests arrive, cocktail hour with a grazing table, filet dinner, and cake. We are thinking of doing a "midnight snack", which would probably be cookies and milk!

For the cocktail hour, we have vegetable crudites, barbecue meatballs, smoked salmon (which was thrown in as a courtesy after having to reschedule our wedding date), and golden fried shrimp. Dinner begins with a garden salad and egg lemon soup, followed chicken au poivre with twice baked potatoes and honey glazed baby carrots. Finally, our cake is yellow and fudge marble with hazelnut French custard between the layers and buttercream.

So we have not confirmed the menu yet because our wedding is still a little far off and the chef might change a few things in 2022 but what we're thinking so far...

We have a few vegans attending our wedding so we're trying to make sure we have plenty for them to eat as well.

Cocktail Hour: Braised Eggplant, olive, tomato crostini (vegan), bacon wrapped peach brisket, and a charcuterie station with meats, cheeses, olives, nuts, fruits, jams, crackers, and bread.

Dinner: Preselected choice of salad- Caesar salad with romano or for the vegan choice there is a local greens salad with champagne vinaigrette.

Preselected entree choice of- Grilled rosemary chicken breast w/ cabernet demi, Filet mignon, or grilled portobello mushroom with smoked ratatouille for the vegan entree all with seasonal vegetable accompaniment.

Dessert:Wedding cake (ginger spice cake with lemon curd filling/frosting) and I will be getting assorted vegan cupcakes.
