Reception Hall that will allow outside catering in Philly/Delaware County

Sylvia, on June 14, 2012 at 8:34 AM Posted in Planning 0 9

Ok so I have a June 22, 2013 wedding date I'm so in need of a reception hall that will allow me to have outside catering. I'm looking for a place in or around Philadelphia/Delaware County. I do NOT want to spend a lot of money for a place that will NOT be providing food. Looking for a place that will hold 75-100people and I’m not looking to spend more than **** total. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!!

My girlfriends getting married at the Tyler Arboretum in Media. Not sure how much she's paying, but I know it's in the area you're interested in and I'm pretty sure she's bringing it outside catering.

Really, I contacted them and was told that they had an exclusive caterer (Jefffrey MIller Catering) and did not allow outside caters... I appreciate the response and am super curious now

We are getting married at Duportail House in Chesterbrook, PA. They allow outside caterers, and they are within your budget. It's a great historic farmhouse, really beautiful, and they have space for an outdoor ceremony if you're interested in that aspect.

Also, you can try the fire halls. They usually do outside catering, you have to call around though.

Date twins!! We are alsmost at our year mark!

Thanks for all your help, we saw a few places over the weekend and for now its looking like either (Ridgeland Mansion) http://www.cancersupport-phila.org/documents/itsaboutdetails.pdf or (Sage Farmhouse) http://www.sagefarmhouse.com/gallery/

Both seem to be fitting the idea of what we are looking for space and flexabilty wise. We are going for more party then wedding feel and these places seem to have the super caual feel we are looking for. SO on to phase two table/chairs/tent rentals ^_^

Have you considered a rental property? VRBO.com Homeaway.com, there are a bunch of similar websites.
