Our story... hummm. Well to say it was love at first sight would just have to be a flat out lie ^_^ in fact to even say we were friends to start I'd have to say would be bit of a stretch we were more like friendly acquaintances. Jin and I met in the summer of 2000 while working together at a non-profit business incubator in West Philadelphia. I was doing a year of service with the AmeriCorps organization and he was working as an audio video and all around tech guy for one of the businesses located inside our building. We were introduced to one another by a mutual friend and coworker Isa who was also working for AmeriCorps but had known Jin for some time. It didn’t take long for us to establish our mutual love for video games, music, movies and computers. However at the time I was happily engaged and had no real interest in looking around for something better.  After a few years’ time passed and things fell apart for one reason or another both my engagement and our friendship which over a five year time frame had grown pretty strong. It seemed at that time that would be the end of our story except life tends to make its own rules and so by chance Spring of 2006 we found ourselves working together again. For the next two years we would embark on this road of ups and downs and on again off again “benefits relationship” (you know what I’m talking about) rollercoaster that finally took us to this crossroad to either jump in or move out the way to allow each of us to find happiness with someone else so… we jumped. Sadly we failed apparently we had jumped to early, there was still some growing needed on both our parts before we could get to the places we needed to be to complement one another but you know what they say hindsight is 20/20. So once again time goes by and we experience two years of let’s just say an awkward friendship, both of us trying to move on but neither of us really wanting to. So back to the crossroads, in February 2011  I decided I was ready to give it another go (don't tell him that though it was months before I truly admitted to it) we started going on dates and taking more trips and it was no denying that things were different this time we had finally found our rhythm. Our connection was solid and so when he looked over at me on Dec 10 2011while we were vacationing in Las Vegas and said "Hey I suck at being romantic but... Marry me" with ring in hand the only thing I could say was YES!!!!
