Reception entrance

I didn’t at my own wedding but I like the idea. Gives some added personality to your wedding. Do you have any ideas of what dramatic/slow song to use?

Most people walk in, no music at all, not GM or BM or couple. You do what you want. But it might get a little much with dances. And you might want to do a short bit, and end in position to do your first dance. Be announced as husband and wife, and do your first dance directly. Eliminate the extra transition of seating then getting up again after. It is in transitions that people get itchy.

I attended a wedding a few years ago, where the processional song was "I'm yours" by Jason Mraz but it was a "piano cover",no lyrics, it sounded more dramatic than fun or relax.There's nothing wrong with your idea of having a littledrama to your entrance.

You could start playing your first dance song. Then you could be announced, walk in, and finish it with your first dance. That would flow really nicely and be very cool. Most weddings i've been to recently the couple does the first dance right away anyway!
